Trym, the Hel-hound.
Trym was the Jutuls' Hel-hound pet.
In the series[]
In episode 4, after Magne follows Fjor and Gry, Vidar sends Trym to kill him. Trym caught up with Magne, and for a while the two stared at each other before the Hel-hound jumped at Magne. He viciously attacked Magne, bit him, and tried to kill him while standing over him. However, Trym proved to be no match for Magne, the reincarnation of Thor, as his attacks had little effects on him due to his powers already awakened by that point. Using his godly strength, Magne managed to kill the Hel-hound with his bare hands before leaving the deceased beast on a boulder for Vidar to find.

Trivia[]
- Trym shares his name with a Jötunn who stole Thor's Mjölnir in the past with letter "h" removed. This might be not a coincidence however, as the hound behaved hostile toward Magne in the first episode of Season 1 indicated him to be the reincarnation of said Jötunn and therefore recognized the boy as his bane's latest incarnation.
- Rather than hounds of infernal origin, the type of hellhound Trym belonged to plausibly same as Garmr, Hel's very own supernatural dog which she assigned to guard her stronghold in Helheim judging from its gaunt appearance.
